Hello, my curious friends!
How’s your day today?
For me, it was not that special, but like usual I had a small happy moment today as well.

After waking up, I checked myself through the mirror.
And I realized that I had a blister on my underlip.
What happened during the night?
My immunity got weakened?
Or Is it a hormonal thing?
Don’t know why.
If you have a similar problem, or who knows the reason why, please let me know🙏.
Breakfast

This was my breakfast today.
It’s quite simple, right?
There was an apple and peanut butter combo, cherry tomatoes, green grapes, and warm green tea.
I also wanted to have boiled eggs, but I was busy in the morning and didn’t have enough time to cook.

This small white spoon is so amazing to use.
I purchased it from Daiso in Korea.
It’s like a spatula, so you can scrape anything thoroughly.
Therefore, I use this when I have my yogurt or peanut butter👍.
After using this, the dish looks like you don’t need to even wash the dish😆.
Lunch

For my lunch, I made stir-fried rice with leftover rice from our rice cooker.
I, personally, prefer to make rice by mixing basmati or jasmine rice and Farro/Spelt/Oat.
This time, we had basmati with Spelt rice combination, and I made stir-fried rice with this.
I simply added green peas, corn, paprika, and two eggs with butter.
When I started to eat, I added sriracha sauce a bit on the top.
Yes, I like spicy food like normal Korean😆.

In this stir-fried rice bowl, You can see little brown things.
That’s the Spelt rice.
It gives you more chewy, nutty, and a bit sweet taste.
I love it!🤩
Dinner

This soup is Finnish Hernekeitto, which is green pea soup.
Usually, when we cook, we add bacon here.
And I heard that, normally in Finland, Thursday is Hernekeitto day.
This is a Thursday tradition in Finland, and the reason is an essential factor in the history of Christianity.
So, on Thursday, people eat Hernekeitto and as a dessert, they also have pannukakku which is a Finnish oven pancake with berry jam.
However, it does not mean that you must have Hernekeitto (pea soup) every Thursday.

Instead of Finnish pancake dessert, I made a side dish.
Yes, I am typical Korean, right? 😂
Even though I am living out of Korea, it does not matter.
I NEED SIDE DISHES which is BANCHAN!😆
I just used what I had in the refrigerator at that moment.
There are cherry tomatoes, green grapes, cilantro (coriander), chives, and broccoli sprouts.
Actually, I was wondering about the taste because I was thinking that that’s not that harmonious ingredients each other.
However, taste was soooooo good!😋

When you start to eat Hernekeitto, you should add chopped onions and mustard.
I recommend to add sliced cheese as well!👍
End of the day

After having dinner, my husband and I walked around our neighborhood.
It was raining from yesterday night till today morning.
However, in the afternoon, the sun was starting to shine and the weather was getting better.
(Yeah, what a surprise of Finnish weather😅)
Thanks to the rain, the fresh air in Finland got much fresher while we were walking.

While we were walking, this flower grabbed my attention.
Isn’t it Lily of the valley?

It looked so cute and pretty, so automatically I was approaching these flowers.
At that moment, my husband said to me that I needed to be careful because it had poison.
HOW?! HOW COME THIS PRETTY AND CUTE FLOWER CAN HAVE POISON?!😲

By the way, do you know what’s the meaning of Lily of Valley?
Lily of the Valley has several meanings and symbols, mainly symbolizing ‘Happiness’, ‘Purity’, and ‘Hope’.
But this flower is poisonous?!
NO WAY!😭

On the way back home, we saw various flowers on the road.
It was like a healing moment while we were walking.
We breathed fresh air, saw lots of beautiful flowers, and met cute small birds as well (even though here are no pics of them).

After coming back home, I drank a half cup of aloe vera drink that my mother-in-law gave to hydrate myself.
And then took a shower right after that🛁.
That’s it for today.
It was just a normal day in Finland, I appreciated that I had a happy moment today as well!
Good night!😴
